Our Mission

Our goal is to provide an affordable way for homeowners to purchase private easement rights to access the Monon that is irreovocable and follows their home's deed. This initiative is privately supported by Westfield Heights homeowners and is intended to foster community, improve property values and increase use of the city's most popular park amenity.

Private Easements

A private easement is a legal method to authorize use of a property to an individual, entity or parcel. Private easements are most commonly used to grant access to boat slips and docks via a private water front property. A private easement protects the servient property owner's liability.
